Compare EVs side by side
Pick any two of the 297 electric variants on sale in Australia (46 brands) and see price, running costs, range, charging, size, safety, warranty and features next to each other.
Pick two EVs to compare
Start typing a brand or model in either box, for example “Model Y”, “Atto” or “ute”. Or try a popular comparison below.
Better marks the better number in each row: lower price, running cost, energy use and charge or 0–100 time; higher range, power, charging speed, boot, towing and safety scores. No winner is shown when either value is missing. Not yet confirmed means we couldn’t find a reliable source yet.

How we work out the numbers
- Price: manufacturer list price before on-road costs (or drive-away where the brand only publishes that), from our EV prices list, checked 17 Oct 2026. Confirm with the dealer.
- Running costs: energy only, using the same example defaults as our running-cost calculator: 13,000 km a year, home power at 30c/kWh and public charging at 60c/kWh, with the car’s WLTP energy use. “Home charging” assumes all charging at home; the second row assumes 80% home and 20% public. Real-world use is usually higher than WLTP, especially at highway speeds.
- Specs: range, battery, efficiency, charging, performance, dimensions, warranty and V2L are from EVDB Australia. ANCAP stars, test year and occupant scores are from ANCAP. For the best-selling models we added wheelbase, heat pump and Apple CarPlay/Android Auto from Australian-spec listings on CarExpert, and vehicle-to-grid support from EV Database (European spec, so check the Australian spec). Each car’s sources and check dates are listed under the table.
- Variants: CarExpert and EV Database figures are listed per model. We only copy one to every variant when all of that model’s listed variants agree; if they differ, the row shows Not yet confirmed.
- Coverage: 53 of 297 variants have every core spec. The rest show Not yet confirmed where we couldn’t find a reliable figure. We never fill gaps with guesses.
